I have a lease with Brookside downtown that started in August but due to unfortunate circumstances am no longer able to live in Columbia or attend Mizzou. My dad has been on long term disability this last year and we cannot afford the out of state tuition any longer and my family needs me home in Chicago to help out. There is a convenience store right across the street, it is only a 1 block walk to MU's campus, it is in the middle of downtown Columbia with a 1 block walk to many restaurants and bars. The amenities are on Brookside's website but include all 3 pool locations, bus pass, and the workout studios. The utilities, including internet and cable, are a fixed cost through Brookside each month along with the cost of it being fully furnished. The building is brand new this year and all furniture and everything is brand new. The rent is $649.95/mo with $60/mo in utilities and $35/mo for furniture. The end cost is $749.95/mo.
