Hello,
This 1 bedroom apartment is available on November 1st for 2-6 month leases. I've lived here for 3 years while remodeling it- it's in an amazing location. I'm doing short leases because I have some renovations planned for next summer and will need the place empty. The apartment comes furnished with the essentials (futon, table and chairs, kitchenware, mattress, etc) Currently, I have tenants living here until October 30th. So it is available Nov 1.
This price is for a 6 month lease. For 1-2 month leases, it add $180/mo since I will need to look for a new tenant almost right away. For 2-4 month leases, it adds $100/mo. For 4-6 mo leases, it is 1450/mo. Security deposit of one month is required, however I have great rental history of being a fair landlord and you get your deposit back within 14 days of moving out.
This house is awesome- very quiet part of the neighborhood. You'd be surprised how quiet- no college kids up this end of the street. Housemates downstairs are super friendly, young working professionals. It has a fenced in yard, 3 car garage (renting a dedicated garage bay to yourself is $40/mo, with EV charging), hose for washing cars/bikes. Screened in porch with bench, lights, hammock (my favorite room). Another porch that isn't screened in that I use for storage. I am open to having some pets, but each pet is a $40/mo pet fee for the accelerated wear on the recently refinished hardwood floors.
After the house had $5K worth of insulation added, I had a heat pump installed which keeps your apartment comfy during summer and winter! This unit does your heat during the winter, and you have central A/C during the summer. Average electric bill is $40-50 with proof- and this is your only bill other than internet! You dont' need to set up utilities in your name- I just give you receipts and then subtract the total from the deposit (think about $70/mo). Bedroom and living room are very large. Bathroom is not huge, but pretty and recently remodeled. Shower large enough for two people! I just finished the kitchen remodel, including all new stainless appliances, cabinets, backsplash, paint!
PLEASE include some information about yourself and who would be living with you (including pets). Also, I am considering selling the house. So if you're in the market to buy, I might be able to do owner financing. Or you can just get an FHA loan (3.5% down, leaving a monthly payment under $2K, and the rent downstairs is $2190). Use a real estate agent and they'll get their normal 3% commission. So feel free to have your real estate agent contact me.
The tenants pay for electricity and internet. I pay for water and trash costs. This unit has an ultra efficient heat pump for heating and cooling. So your electric bills are only $40-70 during the coldest months.
