Charming New England towns dot the area and are fun to visit. Saratoga Springs with Race week, and its cultural options is a charming antique town and an easy visit. The covered bridges and antiquing in Vermont and the Lake George tourist attractions with amusement parks, water sports and a rodeo are also close options. If you are into the outdoors and more adventurous you can try Ausable Chasm, Howe Caverns or Exreme Adirondacks with zip lines and challenge courses.
