The former school house has high ceilings and a main hallway that is about 100 ft. The front porch is concrete and faces East. Several people who are familiar with it have suggested that the house be used as a gathering place for wedding parties, because of it's size. The living room is huge and will accommodate large family gatherings. There is plenty of room for offices/studios. If you like privacy, this is for you. I've never had a problem with any neighbors, or traveling salespeople. The church, post office, general store, and downtown shops are within short walking distance and the fire department/voting area, literally, right across the street. The back yard/field is large and there is a large shed suitable for storage of outdoor items. There is a great deal of room for storage in the garage, which was the school's auditorium. The house has wood floors and high ceilings, as was common with school houses built at that time. Of the 3 bathrooms, one could use a face lift. The plumbing works, but the room could be made prettier. Andersonville is a small, quiet town. Restaurants, motels, doctors, hospital, pharmacies, auto repair, Walmart, Lowe's, and more, are a 15 minute drive. Access to Interstate 75 is 30 miles away.
