Private room, 10'6" x 10', with large window overlooking Somers Cove in Crisfield, MD. Comes with full bathroom directly outside bedroom door. Shared common space includes updated kitchen with granite countertops, all appliances including refrigerator/freezer, glass-top electric range & oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer, and dryer, and breakfast bar. Dining area has a glass top dining table with chairs, and the living room/den area has a full couch, armchair, and 65' flatscreen tv. There are two balconies, a front balcony with view of Tangier Sound/Annemessex River and a rear wrap around balcony overlooking the Chesapeake Bay through double glass sliding doors. Both are furnished to enable one to sit by the water and relax and to view the spectacular sunsets. There is internet and cable tv. The room for rent is furnished with all new, all white, full-sized bed, bureau, nightstand, glass-topped lamp table, and glass-topped coffee table. It has a full-sized closet, 6'3" x 2', for hanging clothes with a head-high shelf. There are no pets allowed, no smoking, the common areas and bathroom are kept clear & very clean. The condo building has 16 units and everyone is very friendly. There is a boat dock that we use for catching free crabs. There is an outdoor swimming pool at the Somers Cove Marina (membership fee) walking distance from the condo. Free parking at building with very many spaces available. No smoking allowed inside or on front common area balcony. No dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans left on counter tops tables, or anywhere else, all of them must be cleaned immediately after using. No clothing, shoes, or other possessions left in common areas including bathroom (there is storage in bathroom for bathroom items). Areas in kitchen and fridge are available for food storage. There is no bill for water usage, but electricity bills, cleaning bills, and internet/cable bills must be shared (1/3 of total to room's tenant), but these bills are not high at all; the highest that the electric bill gets in winter or summer months has been around $300, but that was with an old & dying HVAC system - a brand new HVAC heat pump was installed in February 2025, so bills will be lower. The condominium association of the building, Tangier Sound Condominium, has limited leases to a minimum of six months, but a three month lease would be acceptable - one year is preferable. Loud noise, like really loud music, blaring tv speakers, or people making a lot of noise with raised voices/shouting/yelling, is not allowed. The landlord will only be present for part of each week, the rest of the time the tenant will have the condo to themselves. Vehicles parked here must be street legal, registered, inspected, & insured, and there is very large amount of parking space at the building.
