Hi all! I just signed the lease on this amazing apartment/art studio and then got an artist's residency in Paris for a few months. So my roommate and I are seeking a subletter from August 1st through October 31. We would like someone who is clean, respectful and relaxed and can put this rare opportunity to have so much extra space in BK to good use! This is a perfect space for artists who want to save money on rent/ studio! Couples and pets are very welcome! The Space: The space is a huge, sunny 2 bedroom loft on the border of Bedstuy and Bushwick. It has real walls, exposed brick, hardwood floors and skylights throughout. The kitchen and living room are large and open and the best feature is that there is a huge space in the center of the apartment that can be used as an art or fabrication studio, rehearsal or office space, or any other purpose! The apartment also has roof access. The bedroom will come outfitted with a bed, storage for clothes, chair, nightstand, etc. If you have your own furniture we can work that out too because there is so much space for storage! The bedroom is big and sunny, with one large window, a skylight, french doors and exposed brick walls. There is one bathroom. The Location The loft is on Broadway near Broadway and Dodworth. It is right off the JMZ between Kosciuszko and Myrtle Ave stops so it's really easy to get into Manhattan/ other areas of BK. Apartment is walkable to grocery stores, cafes, galleries, bars, restaurants thrift stores, etc. About Me I lived in Brooklyn before but left to get my MFA in western NY. I'm returning to this apartment after I finish a residency in France this fall. My roommate who will live in the other bedroom is also a working artist, a close friend and fantastic person to live with.
