The kitchen is small, but there's a good size bedroom a small living room and a little plus room off the kitchen so it's about 500 ft . Probably it's biggest asset is it's location. Really nice vibe, not visible from any streets. It shares a large lot with a two unit Victorian. The cottage has its own fenced yard along with the whole estate being fenced. So in essence two two fenced yards. My front tenants are all in their 20's and 30's roughly and we all get along very well they've been there several years. It does have more of a community feel to it. The cottage features, Newish paint, Laminate floors, New ish tile, Greenhouse window off kitchen, Very private, Shared laundry on site, (not coin), Nice, completely fenced, large yard with electric driveway gate and security pedestrian gate, with lots of room to hang/hide out... Carefully used Gas Fire pit. I'm a city of Oakland disaster prep volunteer and I can get kind of growly if you mess with my smoke detectors or make a hazard. That being said, You're in luck I've completely seismically retrofitted The Victorian and installed automatic gas shut off valves for both structures. New roofs, sewer, gas lines, water lines, upgraded electrical., There's an awesome fig tree that produces amazing figs usually three crops till November. Plum, lemon, roses all kinds of plants around there. Plus normally a pretty cool, chill landlord, unless as i said, you mess with my smoke detectors or create a hazard or don't follow the lease.. then, like I said, I get a little growly.. If you want a sanctuary from this crazy life and like a little quirky cottage, then this is your spot. Shared off street parking. I'll consider a dog with good references and a meet and greet. It's helpful if you let me know about smoking, how many vehicles you intend to have, number of people in your party, how long of a lease you would prefer and how long do you think you might be in the area.
