The home was well tended before we bought it, but we added good insulation, new windows, a large off street parking pad (big enough for two big trucks), washer and dryer, and gave it a nice facelift inside for our tenants. The yard is huge and the neighbors are great. It's a perfect little cottage for someone working at the lab or the hospital, possibly a small family, or someone who has recently separated and needs a place to call their own and feel comfortable. I wished I had this place when I moved to Oak Ridge. My first tenants (who both work at the lab and became friends of mine) got married and bought their first home...I am so proud of them! My brilliant current tenant was sought after by multiple universities who woo'd him away to a new opportunity across the country.
