Our roommate will be leaving our townhouse in Navy Yard so we're looking for someone (preferably another woman in their mid-to-late 20s) to take over the next lease starting November 1st OR December 1st. Rent is $1200/month. Utilities typically run around $75/month. Who we are: Two women in their 20s and one 30-pound beagle/border collie mutt named Daisy. We are looking for someone who is clean, respectful, and enjoys the occasional glass of wine but can also respect personal space and me-time. Dog-lovers preferred as Daisy is very affectionate! The house is three stories and features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, laundry in unit, and a rooftop patio connected to the top floor bedroom. The room available is an ideal size, with beautiful natural light thanks to three large windows that face the back of the home. It also has a double door closet and a ceiling fan. The room currently houses a queen bed comfortably. You will share a bathroom with one other roommate. The bathroom has a double vanity and plenty of storage. We are the first renters in the home and the landlord is very kind and quick to reply when needed. We are conveniently located within walking distance to both Navy Yard/Ballpark (7 minute walk) and Eastern Market (12 minute walk) metro stations. We're also less than two blocks from Harris Teeter, 3 blocks from Capitol Riverfront (i.e. District Winery, Agua 301, Osteria Morini, etc.), and easy walking distance to Nationals Park and Audi Field. We are happy to conduct in-person or video tours, whichever is most convenient. We look forward to meeting y'all!
