The Provinces is a master-planned, family-oriented community consisting of 1,917 lots. Located north and south of Ray Road between Hamilton St. and Cooper Rd. in fast-growing Chandler, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. The community is 13 miles southeast of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, 9 miles west of Phoenix-mesa Gateway Airport and 3 miles north of Chandler Municipal Airport with convenient access to AZ State Routes 101, 202 and U.S. Route 60. Children in the community are served by the Chandler Unified School District. Based on the location within The Provinces, those in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade attend either Shumway Elementary, Sanborn Elementary or Bologna Elementary while those in grades seventh and eighth attend Willis Jr. High or Anderson Jr. High. All high school students attend Chandler High School. However, Chandler also now offers open enrolment allowing students to attend any Chandler school. The Provinces is managed by a volunteer group of homeowners from within the community whom are elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is assisted in their administration of the Association by a contracted property management company, currently City Property Management.
