Large three-bedroom home for rent in Barre Circle, a short walk to the University of Maryland Medical Center and UMAB. I've tried to lay out the photos as described in the walkthrough below, and I've included a floorplan graphic as well so you have an idea what the home looks like. As you enter the home you find yourself in the foyer, which can be used as a kitchen/dining area with the addition of a table and chairs. On this level is also the kitchen which has a new dishwasher and gas range. The home is split front-to-back with stairs, and as you move to the back of the home (5 steps up) you will be on the main level which contains the combined dining/living area. The dining area has mirrors along the walls to open up and brighten the area. The living room, toward the back of the home, has skylights in the lofted ceiling and the rear wall is floor-to-ceiling glass to bring in lots of natural light. The sliding glass door opens to the deck which overlooks the backyard patio (accessible from downstairs) and the community park. The sliding glass doors on this and the lower level are new within the past few years and are energy efficient models. This goes for all windows in the home which helps to keep the utility costs down. Additionally, the entire central air system was replaced less than ten years ago and runs quietly and effectively. Heading to the front of the home and up another short 5 steps you come to the first bedroom and full bathroom. The hardwood floors are about ten years old and made of hard pine to handle traffic. Continuing upstairs you will be in the loft overlooking the main level, and this area can be used as an office if desired. The second bedroom and full bath combination are behind you in the front of the home. The bedroom and bathroom are identical in layout and dimensions to the ones directly below. Returning back to the first level, heading downstairs toward the back of the home puts you in front of the new washer and dryer, and the location of the home's only half bath. Continuing into the back of the home is the third and final bedroom. In this room the entire back wall is floor-to-ceiling sliding glass and opens to the backyard patio and access to the community park through the wood fence. Note that this room does not have a built-in closet, though there is a coat closet in the common area which can be used for hanging items. The last area is the spacious basement, which had a French drain system installed a few years back to waterproof the home. Since that time there has never been any sign of water or dampness, and this allows for easy storage of whatever you need in the basement, be it bikes, snowboards, etc. Pets are welcome! However I will ask for a non-refundable one-time pet fee to cover the cost of cleaning since accidents do happen. If you have pets, please let me know and we can discuss based on number, size, and type of animal. Parking is available through the city for $20/year/car, and up to two visitor passes can be purchased for $20/year as well. This is stadium restricted parking which does a pretty good job of keeping non-residents away. I have never had an issue finding parking. The home is semi-furnished. There are a couple of couches, tables, chairs, and artwork which can remain in the home. These are items for the common areas, so you're on your own for the bedrooms. The home is available to move in on August 1st, although I will consider pro-rated partial first month's rent on a case-by-case basis (if you'd rather move in later in August). The lease term is no less than 12 months. First month's rent and security deposit (one month's rent) are due on lease signing. Credit checks performed through Experian at a cost of $15 per applicant.
