One question that seems to be consistently asked is whether we will carry the loan. The answer is, yes, if the down payment is significant. UPDATED 10/19/2019 We drove 8hrs from our home in Washington to get some updated pictures, we forgot what a beautiful drive it was, following the Umpqua River to Loon Lake and the property. Our 5.6 acres is literally 5 minutes past Loon Lake Lodge Resort (Red X marks our property on map pic). You are minutes from the fun amenities and all the perks Loon Lake has to offer, but with quiet seclusion amongst acreage of beauty. It really is so beautiful up there. The property is overgrown now, but it hasnt always been. 7 years ago it was a home to our father, his 3 Australian Shepards and chickens etc... there was atleast an acre of YARD (not brush/sticker bushes). There was a driveway, RV parking, boat parking, and a large 5th wheel overlooking a pond. He had cable, electricity, internet, all the things necessary to live there while trying to build his dream cabin. Sadly he passed unexpectedly. We unfortunately could not keep up on the maintenance and all his hard work is overgrown. The potential is there, it really is, I have seen it. We camped at Loon Lake campgrounds, minutes away. It is the most magical area, so much to do. On our trip up there we tried to make a path to walk. The gate is open. Once you get past the 20 or so feet of brush it is fairly easy to walk the rest of the property. Beautiful acreage, used for recreational purposes. Check with county for building a home In the country. Plenty of room for farm animals. Deer and elk roam freely. A very special area very private and out of the way. Perfect setting to build a cabin or home overlooking the gorgeous creeks that run through the property. Small building currently used for storage, but previously used by our father as a loft with electricity for long stays on the property, equipped with a fridge and wood stove.
