This property is for local college students only. Miner Inn is very similiar to dorm style living. You will enter through a locked main entry door and find your assigned room. Each room has it's own door and lock with a key as well. You will enter your room which is a 9'x10' small dorm style room. There is a loft bunk style twin bed (you must provide own mattress) with the bed on top (must be able to climb a ladder) and a desk/workspace on the bottom and a small cabinet to keep your belongings.
If you need to use the restroom you will go down the hall to find a shared restroom which includes 2 showers, 2 sinks and 2 toilets (1st floor only has one toilet) on each floor. The door to the restroom may be locked for privacy for up to 30 minutes per person to shower, etc. If the restroom is occupied you may use a restroom on a different floor.
If you would like to make a meal, you will use the shared kitchen which is right next to the restroom on each floor. Each kitchen will have a stove, sink, microwave, and fridge available for community use except floor 2 kitchen which has a coin operated washer and dryer on in place of a stove and microwave, to do your laundry. You will need to provide your own food and cookware, utensils and/or laundry soap.
It is up to each tenant to clean up their messes in the shared restroom and kitchen before heading back to your room. The building is mostly all colleges student and as we know all college students aren't always the cleanest so the shared areas may not always be pristine but we do try to stay on top of that!
Miner Inn is nothing fancy, but it's a safe, clean place to stay to lay your head at night. The building is mostly occupied by quiet college students and some air bnb guests. There are stairs so if staying on 2nd or 3rd floor you will need to be able to use stairs to access the rooms. No elevators on site. Pics show mattress on bed but mattress is not included.
Parking is streetside only. There are no designated parking spots for this building. There are many small shops and a few sit down restaurants within walking distance, particularly on Pine Street just around the corner.
We pay electric, water, sewer, trash and internet. Cable is not provided.
No pets, no smoking, street parking only, has stairs that are required to access the 2nd and 3rd floors. $300 security deposit for all leases.
$300/month if 1 year lease is signed
$325/month for month-to-month lease
The day you sign your lease, a $300 deposit is due and your rent is due on the day you move in.
