The home has been completely renovated to incorporate modern-day luxury upgrades such as spacious bathrooms with heated floors, custom closet in the master ensuite, and convenient device plug-ins in nightstands (3 devices on each side). Everything is brand new with the exception of the original hardwood flooring which has been restored to a beautiful natural hue. The exterior of the home features two custom stone and brick driveways and an inviting front porch...the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The homeowners occasionally stay on the first floor but View Street Retreat tenants have their own separate driveway and separate front door entry. It's an easy walk to Lake Tomahawk and the Lakeview Activity Center that features a public swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic area, and children's playground. Downtown Black Mountain with it's wonderful restaurants and shops, Black Mountain Yoga studio and the seasonal Farmer's Market are all within a few blocks of the property. Apartment Layout: Enter Unit #101 from the Front Porch. Walk up the stairs to enter the Foyer. All rooms lead off the Foyer like a clock. The Kitchen is fully stocked with all the basics and positioned at 2 o'clock. It features a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, countertop convection oven, dual hot plates, and stack washer/dryer unit. There is also a small bistro table with 4 stools. At 4 o'clock, you enter the master ensuite bedroom with a queen-size bed, full bathroom, custom closet, and TV. The other bedroom with a king-size bed is at 8 o'clock. There is a living room with TV and leather sectional sofa at 10 o'clock and the other full bathroom is at 12 o'clock. Showing by appointment only. A face covering and 6ft social distancing required at all times during showings. No Smoking. No Pets. Maximum of 2 vehicles parked in driveway only. No street or yard parking. Apartment is fully furnished...bedding and towels not included but are negotiable. Utilities, wifi, and cable tv with Netflix included. Criteria to rent includes proof of current employment (verification of income, W-2s, and employer contact info) or bank statement reflecting sufficient funds, good rental history with no evictions and providing current and previous landlord contact info, credit score of 720 or better, and an all clear background check. There is a $29 non-refundable application fee to be paid directly to Zillow upon submitting rental application.
