    What's special

About the neighborhood: Living here is truly an experience. The house is in the up and coming Paristown Pointe neighborhood, on a very friendly street. It is surrounded by long-time local favorites such as Louisville Stoneware, The Cafe, Brooke & Billy's Bites Bourbons & Brews(same owners but formerly named The Coach Lamp Restaurant-featured on it's own episode of Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible in Nov 2013), Hammerheads, The Come Back Inn, Wiltshire Pantry, The Root Cellar and Seidenfaden's Dive Bar. New bike lanes surround the neighborhood and there is more exciting growth expected; just "google" the neighborhood. It is within a 3 minute drive of the nightlife on Baxter Ave as well as the wonderful Quill's Coffee Shop. It's also within a 5 minute drive of the Super Cool Flea off Market in Nulu as well as the many wonderful local restaurants on Bardstown Road. The popular annual Derby parade starts practically in the backyard. It is also surrounded by the Kentucky Derby mini-marathoners every April. Oh, and you can even partially see the Thunder Over Louisville Fireworks show that kicks off the Kentucky Derby. This street is special and exciting to live on and there's a lot of neighborhood pride. About the House: Town-house style with 2 bedrooms/1 full bath upstairs; 1 bedroom/1 full bath downstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms is quite large and has a vaulted ceiling. It can easily accommodate king size furniture. The 2nd upstairs bedroom is nicely sized as well. The 3rd bedroom downstairs also has a vaulted ceiling. All modern lighting throughout. Ceramic tile and parquet flooring (no carpeting). The back of the house is fenced in and features a spacious deck and a nice-size shed on a large, flat yard.. This house is a rare find for the Upper Historic Highlands since it's only 21 years old; however, it fits in perfectly with the neighborhood. New water heater installed just 3.5 years ago. Faux wood blinds. Off Street Parking. Pets considered. Security system connected to smoke detector is part of the package. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE. Tenants are responsible for electric/gas, water and yard upkeep.
