This is a close-knit neighborhood. Many families have school age children, including many young ones. The bus stops are full in the morning, which is a nice way to catch up with neighbors. The schools are very good. I noticed that Zillow had the schools listed incorrectly. The correct ones are Oakton Elem, Thoreau, and Madison. I like that we can take the W&OD Trail into Vienna, Reston, Falls Church or Washington. Many neighbors use the trail. The Difficult Run Stream Valley Park also runs behind the neighborhood and that's nice for walking or jogging or mountain biking. We also like that the neighborhood is convenient to the Dulles Toll Road where we can whip into DC quickly. It's also a 8 or so minutes to the Vienna Metro. The schools are also excellent, which is why we moved here.
