You would have full use of the master bedroom including walk-in closet, a second bedroom with midsize closet, and a full/private bathroom with tub. Both rooms have wide plank pine flooring and East/West facing windows. Shared spaces on the ground floor are calm, clean, furnished, and also available for your use. These include a mud room, second full bathroom, sunny living room, dining area, and kitchen with cookbook library. There is also a large basement with storage space and washer/dryer. The land: Picturesque 80 acres, mostly wooded, with two clean brooks running nearby and forest trails for hiking - blueberry and blackberry bushes, apple trees, sawmill, and a large collaborative garden space. The house in question, a barn, and another occupied cabin sit in a clearing with ample space and resources for projects and dreams surrounded by many, many acres of beautiful forested land. Location: 1 hour from Burlington, 30 min to Montpelier, 20 min to Barre, 45 min to WRJ Accessibility: Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Reliable snow-clearance, however you will need solid transportation and comfort with winter/mud season road conditions. Utilities: Not included in list price. Well on property so we don't have a water bill. The house is primarily heated by wood, with propane back-up if needed. Your ability to pitch in with daily maintenance of wood burning stove in the colder months is required, and fire safety/awareness is a priority. Immediate community: Currently there is one other full-time resident in the home (hi there). My job is relatively demanding and I'm out of the house between 1pm and 1am for work typically four days a week, sometimes more. When not working I enjoy spending time maintaining the house & garden and cooking for friends/family. Otherwise, there are four people living in two other cabins on the property in total.
