The owners save $300 over the cost of kerosene (the more common oil used in Mobile Homes). 2) The master bath was gutted to floor joists and wall studs. All plumbing and wiring was stripped out and replaced. A quarter inch thick steel plate was installed on joists in the area of the toilet. Then one inch thick wood boards were used for the floor and covered with quarter inch hardwood plywood. The walls, floor and ceiling are insulated with styrofoam insulation. The walls are covered with green board drywall. The ceiling is covered with wood planks. There is a custom built sink cabinet and counter with eight hardwood dovetail drawers and a hardwood counter. The shower is a fiberglass enclosure with an adjustable head and a second head on a spray hose. 3) The adjacent walk-in closet was built at the same time. The floor is the same as bathroom but is carpeted. The entire area is filled with wire shelves and the water heater is enclosed with a curtain. 4) All under floor water lines were replaced with inside pipes concealed in soffits and walls. All sinks, tubs, shower, and the clothes washer, etc. have individual cut-offs so a problem with any valve can be isolated and everything else would still work. Also every valve has a drain-down valve and there are access panels in the walls so the entire system can be drained in the event the house needs to be empty in the winter. 5) The back-up generator will keep the furnace on in the event of a power failure or everything can simply be shut-down after the pipes are drained. 6) It has metal roof. It just recently stopped working. 3) Water leaked in during heavy rain and due to park water leak onto the floor in the outside back utility/tool shed area.
