Price includes tax. Located on a working farm, you will see crops being grown adjacent to the campsite and Katahdin, the highest peak in the state in the distance. Your closest neighbor will be 300' away across the road-this is the only RV site on the lot. This campsite is situated 5 miles from the Sherman exit of I-995; 3 miles from the Katahdin Woods and Waters Monument; 10 miles from the KWW Loop Rd; 9 miles to the Penobscot River Trails hike/bike/ski center; and 7 miles to Whetstone Bridge on the East Branch of the Penobscot. On top of that, this section of the Grindstone Rd (Route 11) is an ATV access road if you like to trail ride. Campfires are ok in your own above ground fire pit. Pet friendly, however, we expect you to pick up after them. Good hunting area (right on our adjacent property) and good fishing nearby, or if you like to just explore history, the Hunt Farm, Lunksoos Landing, and Lumberman's Museum are close by. 40 miles to Houlton and less than 30 to Millinocket Electricity and taxes are included.
