You enter from the side of the house either from the street or alley and either way you are standing in a foyer. Go up the stairs turn left and you can enter the apartment. When you enter the apartment you are in the Living Room. It has original wood floors, a ceiling fan, and a window air conditioner. If you turn left from the front door you come to a hall off the Living Room. Off the hall on the right is the bathroom it has a tub shower combination. If you stay in the hall it ends in a small kitchen that has room for a small table and chairs. The kitchen has light oak cabinets, a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. If you enter the Living Room and walk to the opposite end you can turn right into the bedroom. It is very small, an alcove really, but it holds a queen size bed, and has a large double closet with sliding mirror doors. If you go back into the Living Room you could walk out a door (that is opposite from the entrance) and onto the private roof top deck. If you go down the stairs back to the foyer you can exit to the back yard and alley. There is a door in the back of the house that takes you to the Laundry Room, where there is a full size washer and dryer (no coins needed) This Laundry Room is shared by all the residents in the house. Also in the back of the house you will find off street parking. This apartment gets 1 space. Rent is $875 + Utilities Nonsmoking units Application fee is $100, upon approval $85 goes towards your deposit! Tenants are responsible for all utilities. Security deposit is equal to a month's rent. Spayed/Neutered Cats and Dogs are welcome with pet rent and pet deposit. (All dogs must be crated when tenant is not home) (Dogs are subject to weight restrictions) Showings are by appointment only. M-F, 10 AM - 7 PM. We do not show Saturday and Sunday. The house, licensed by the city, is locally owned and managed by the Schneider family (serving Lawrence tenants for 37+ years). Financial Requirement: Each applicant must prove they have 4x's the entire rent (for the unit) in permanent income, or applicant must have a Guarantor, who lives in the continental United States, and owns real estate in the continental United States. We must be able to verify that the Guarantor owns the property through the county where the real estate is located. All applicants must qualify on their own/ independent of co-applicants (no applicant may share a Guarantor). All applicants must have at least 3 years of consecutive rental history otherwise the applicant is required to have a Guarantor.
