The Folkestone began in the early '20s as a rural farmhouse surrounded by cornfields, gardens and pastures. Today, much of that farmstead feelings remains. The garden provides fresh herbs and veggies for the legendary farm-to-table breakfast. The beloved flock of hens provide the kitchen with the freshest eggs. The cornfield is now a sprawling front lawn with plenty of room to chase frisbees or do your morning yoga. Closer to the house, locally homemade chairs surround a fire pit that comes to life many evenings.
