Architecturally inspired by the world of Frank Lloyd Wright. Owned and built by a local artist who added a 2nd floor studio spaning the full width of (75 feet) the home. This sun-heated home was built 54 years ago when Solar Energy was the subject of science fiction. The property runs east to west with the south side consisting almost entirely of triple-pane windows. The walls within the home are exposed brick and block. The floors on the main level are flag stone and the floors on the upper level are parquet. The living room and family room each have a fireplace. The dining room living room and family room have floor to ceiling windows overlooking natural greenery. The gas hot water furnace and hot water heater are new. The home and gardens can easly be restored to their original grandeur. For those who admire architecture this is an architectural poem.
