Our house was built in 2006 and is located approximately 15 miles north of Craig, which is the largest rural community on Prince of Wales Island. The neighboring community of Klawock is approximately 3 miles from the home. The ommunities on Prince of Wales Island are connected by an extensive rural road system and transportation to and from Prince of Wales Island itself is via the Interisland Ferry to Ketchikan or numerous daily flights to Ketchikan or, less frequently, Sitka. There are no property taxes.
I live on-site year-round.

The house has occasionally been operated as lodging for B&B guests and as a part-time charter fishing lodge but my primary employment is unrelated to this and the guest lodging aspect has never been fully developed.
From our website (www.alaskaoffshoreadventures.com): …exclusive, first-rate lodge shore-side on a miles-long estuary just outside of Klawock, Alaska. Our lodge can accommodate 6 guests. The lodge is designed to reflect the Alaskan rural lifestyle and affords guests quiet serenity and incredible views...
Wildlife regularly seen include deer, bear, eagles, seals, sea otters. Less common sightings include wolves and killer whales (orcas). Crab and shrimp are available in the bay in front of the house; salmon and steelhead run several of the streams that enter the bay.
