This historic home, "Riverview," Glenwood's first house ever built on the West side of the Roaring Fork River, now in a quiet downtown neighborhood, is secluded in a lush half acre of spruce, apricot, plum, and scub oak. A long term rental available ~ June 1. My current tenant, of nearly 5 years, is moving, and I'm taking the opportunity to conduct some renovations, including putting a new roof/ceiling on the front porch, painting all deck railings, new flower gardens, etc. I will endeavor to complete this work by June 1, but some of it may run beyond that date. With long-term rental housing options being so limited, I still wanted to make it available, though. As the owner/landlord, I live 45 minutes away, in a tiny off-grid cabin with limited storage, and so I maintain a presence in Riverview's workshop and bike shed. A basement apartment, with private ground-level entry, is currently rented as well, and that tenant contributes $50 each month towards the cost of utilities. I can put you in touch with my current tenant of 4.5 years, so that you can learn about who I am as a landlord, and what, as a tenant, living here is like. As my current tenant hasn't moved out yet, showings will not be available until May 16, but please feel free to contact me with any questions. Tenant pays all utilities. No smoking, pets are potentially negotiable. A prepayment of one year's rent can be negotiated to lower the monthly rate.
