    Hey Folks! This posting is for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom ground floor apartment right off the H st corridor available January 1st! It's got granite countertop, updated marble bathroom, hardwood floors, a private entrance and small porch, and access to a large yard. It will come furnished (though I can put the things in storage) with beds, dressers, a couch, bookshelves, pots/pans/utensils, flat screen TV (updated from the one pictured!) etc. Ready to move in! While there is no washer/dryer in the unit, as part of the lease you will have access to the washer dryer in the upstairs unit. Area: The house is located in North Capitol Hill (10th and K st), two blocks from the "Atlas District" or the "H st Corridor". In the past several years tons of new bars and restaurants have opened in the area, there is a yoga studio, coffee houses, banks, convenience stores, etc. A lot of exciting things happening in the area! The streetcar is also operating down H st. Within 3 blocks there is a pharmacy, convenience store, take out places, restaurants, bars, dry cleaners, barber shop, a Bank of America, and many other conveniences. Within 2/3 of a mile there is a Safeway, Whole foods, Giant, Harris Teater, and an Aldi. To Get here: The house is easily walkable to a metro (closest is NoMa-Gallaudet U metro station, .6 miles or a 12 min walk, Union station is also walkable, .8 miles from hopscotch bridge exit or a 5 min bus ride from the stop at my front door). The streetcar stop is just 2 blocks from the house. There's bus stops all around the area that go to most of the places you'd want to go (direct buses within 2 blocks to downtown by the mall, Chinatown, union station, adams morgan, dupont, the white house, Georgetown, Georgetown Law campus, Eastern Market etc. and I almost always find them more convenient than the metro, but that's possibly just my preference/schedule). Street parking remains generally very easy. I allow cats, and if you have a dog that is possible, we would have to discuss further. Utilities are not included, and generally run around $200 for the unit, depending on the season (that includes, gas, electric, and water). Electric is shared with the upstairs unit (you only pay 1/4), and you can work out cable and internet sharing with them if you wish to save a bit of cash. I just pay utilities every month and send you an email letting you know how much, keeps it easier for you. If you're interested in the place, please email me and let me know what additional questions you have. If you do end up living here, I will expect you to take care of the place like it's your own, including being a good neighbor, taking care of the place, doing the yard work etc. I promise I'm a good landlord and take care of things, but I also expect mature tenants who care for my house.
