Situated in the heart of downtown Greensboro, this upscale apartment community provides walkable access to restaurants, coffee shops, Center City and LeBaur parks, Elon Law School and even many office buildings. The historic building was originally a 1920s bank--you can still see the original vault on the basement level--and has recently been converted to residential apartments on floors 4 to 9, with office spaces on the third floor and space for store front businesses on the ground level. The building started leasing apartments in August 2015, so you will be among the first to enjoy these brand new, luxury homes. I've lived in this unit since January 2016 and of my three years in Greensboro, this is without a doubt the best place I have rented. It breaks my heart to be leaving for a new job across the country, but I hope to find a new renter who will adore this place as much as I do. You will have the option to rent the place for 6, 9 or 12 months, and each lease will be $980 per month. This bright and sunny one-bedroom unit is on the 6th floor. Eight oversized windows, overlooking Elm St. and the Lincoln Financial building, line the entire length of the apartment. West-facing windows mean you'll have the perfect amount of sunshine year round and will never have to turn on a light during the day or shut your blinds to block out overly bright sun. An open layout makes the 726 sq. foot unit feel extremely spacious for one resident and still a perfect fit for two. The kitchen features brand new appliances, granite counter tops and ample storage space with a separate pantry. A full-size washer and dryer are included in the apartment at no additional fee. The living room and kitchen have wood floors throughout while the bedroom is a light neutral carpet and the bathroom features a neutral tile floor. Pictures may be of other units in the building, however all units feature the same appliances and upscale trimmings. Please see the layout for an accurate picture of how the apartment is designed as each one on the floor is a unique layout. As for amenities, the community allows up to two pets per unit with a weight limit of 90lbs. per pet. Water, cable, Wi-Fi and electricity are the responsibility of the tenant. An onsite maintenance worker is available during normal business hours for non-emergencies and can also be reached after hours for emergencies. You will have the option to rent a parking space in the public garage that is attached to the building for $60 a month, although you can also choose to pay as you go rather than buying the monthly pass. The lobby, elevators and stairwells are key fob or key-code access only, so the community is very secure. Trash and recycling are located on each floor, and the mail room can be found in the lobby of the building. If you have any questions or would like to see the unit in person, don't hesitate to reach out via text, email or phone. This is not a lease take over. You would be signing your own lease with the building. *6 and 9 month leases also available for the same monthly rate. Water, cable, Wi-Fi and electricity are the responsibility of the tenant.
