Each of the two full bathrooms includes a shower/tub combo, fluffy towels, and complimentary toiletries. The living room offers captivating mountain views and features a plush sofa, a flat-screen TV, and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Additional parking is available for a fee of $25 per car per night. Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request for $20 per hour (first 2 hours) and $40 per hour thereafter. Located in the heart of Sugar Mountain, this charming mountain village is known for its stunning natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. Enjoy hiking, skiing, and golfing, plus nearby dining, shopping and attractions. Grandfather Mountain State Park is a 10-minute drive, Grandfather Golf and Country Club is a 12-minute drive, Sugar Creek Gem Mine is a 9-minute drive, and Lees-McRae College is a 16-minute drive. The fireplace is decorative and not for use. The building does not have a ski lift, but it is conveniently located right next to the slopes. A complimentary shuttle operates on demand, approximately every 30 minutes to nearby Sugar Ski. During the busy season, all guests will need to park in the lower-level lots and take the shuttle to the front entrance. On-site parking is only available when the shuttle is not operating. If the shuttle service is running, all rental guests must park in the lower lot and use the shuttle to reach the building. During the winter months, snowfall can accumulate quickly, even after paths are cleared, so it is recommended to utilize the complimentary shuttle service for easier and safer commutes. From December through January, 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) or AWD (All-Wheel Drive) vehicles are mandatory for accessing Grousemoor Road leading up to Sugartop, and this requirement is enforced by the Sugar Mountain Police Department (SMPD). If you plan to bring more than 2 people, there will be an additional charge of $25 per guest, per night (max occupancy is 5 guests). The minimum rental age for the primary guest is 21.
