I am looking to split the cost of a house on JBAB so you ** must be a Military (active or reserve)/DOD/federal service employee. ** The house will be fully furnished (except for your room) but there is plenty of storage and I am more then happy to move my items if you want to bring in your stuff. I do not smoke and I don't have pets but I am open to it if you have one. $760 includes utilities except for cable and internet which we will split. The bathroom will be shared. Everything is open to discussion.The house is located just steps from the Potomac River. There is a little bar on the water with a beautiful view of the city. The base has a lot to offer like running trails, pontoon and kayak rentals, 3 gyms, bowling alley, commissary, exchange, Starbucks, a dock and marina, and much more. The most important for me is security and safety of living on a military installation. The base also offers a free shuttle service to several locations through out the base and also to the metro.A little about me: I am a 31 y/o F in the military. I'm easy going and very social. But I have full respect for privacy. I would prefer F roommates but I will consider M. I enjoy cooking and am very active and I'm always up for an adventure. I am new to the area but I like meeting new people. I enjoy having people over for the occasional cookout and like to plan social gatherings like kayaking/hiking/white water rafting/block parties. I'm looking for a roommate that enjoys coming home and relaxing but is just as social as I am. I want to be comfortable in my home and hope to make you feel the same.
