This is an in-law apartment attached to the side of the main house, where our family of 4 adults reside, readily available for renters' needs. We have two cats, and 6 chickens. The apartment itself is newly furnished, with a comfortable queen bed as well as a pull out full-size sofa bed perfect for a child or overnight guest. The bedroom has a desk and walk-in closet, and room for a port-a-crib (not included). The living room has a large screen t.v.. The large windows and outside patio (with private grill and seating) extend this cozy, quiet apartment, nestled in a lush, private yard. Other features include world renowned Fort Williams Park (with a beach, gardens, playing fields, playground, children's garden, tennis and pickle ball courts) just a 5 minute walk down the street. There are miles of wooded hiking trails right from the neighborhood, and it's just a short drive to multiple gorgeous beaches and farms, a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store, bakeries, live theater, and restaurants, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Portland (with abundant fabulous restaurants, shops and theaters). A shared washer and dryer in the main house are available to use at no cost (there is also a nice laudrymat just 5 minutes away). No smoking, and no pets are allowed in the apartment.
