Cal Poly University Housing has more than 70 openings in campus apartments at Cerro Vista Apartments and Poly Canyon Village (PCV), located at the foot of Poly Canyon. Spaces are available to continuing students and new transfer students in communities focused on independent living. Our fully furnished apartments come in four-, five- and six-person configurations, with spectacular views of campus, city and the surrounding hills. Rooms include an extra-long twin bed, armoire, dresser, side table, desk and chair for every occupant. All spaces are in shared apartments with other continuing Cal Poly students who can accommodate an additional roommate. Most bedrooms are double (bunked) suites. We also have a few single rooms and standard double rooms available. Floor plans and virtual tours are linked on the University Housing website. Along with close proximity to classes, nature and campus resources, residents get front door access to a community of Cal Poly peers will all amenities included. Academic year leases: Nine months, dates below. (Zillow does not show a 9 mo. option.) Continuing students: 8 a.m., Sept. 16, 2025 - 12 p.m., June 14, 2026 Transfer students: 8 a.m., Sept. 11, 2025 - 12 p.m., June 14, 2026 Housing is closed for winter break, although we do offer housing for those who need to stay. Winter break is a separate contract and fee. Fees: Apartment fees vary, based on room type. The monthly rate post is for an apartment double (bunked) suite. We also have rates for private rooms and standard double rooms (both beds on the floor). Initial Payment: A $500 initial payment is required at the time of application. This fee is applied to the academic year's housing fees. It is refundable if you cancel for an approved reason. It is non-refundable if you decided to cancel to live off-campus Cancelations: We require a 30-day notice for cancellations. The lack of notice fee is $10/night.
