The cabin is 364 square feet, with a 14'x6' covered porch for relaxing. Inside, there is one built in bunk bed with a twin up and a queen down. Plus two sleeping lofts overhead, providing accommodations for the whole family and/or friends. Lighting and electronics are powered by batteries and a generator, while there is a propane stove and a propane refrigerator as well. A good-sized wood stove provides ample heat when needed in the colder months. There is a new Amish built shed for storage, with a lean to fro firewood storage, which can be harvested from the property. The heavily wooded lot provides good cover and bedding for whitetail and area wildlife, there are some open areas as a draw, and there is a ground blind already in a good location which stays. This area of Central New York is well known for its wildlife conservation and excellent hunting and producing mature bucks in the area, as well as bear, turkey and grouse for hunting. The property borders Bowman Lake State Forest, which adds an additional 967 acres for additional hunting, hiking as well as trout fishing on Bowman Lake, which also features a public beach, picnic area and miles of hiking trails. This property is located on a snowmobile trail, which provides miles of winter fun for the sledding enthusiast. While this property is in a private and secluded location, amenities are available just 2.5 miles away in the historic village of Oxford, as well as 9.5 miles away in Norwich. The property is only 1 hour from Binghamton and just over 3 hours to NYC/George Washington Bridge. There is a log splitter included.
