The first time I had a chance to visit this property I was convinced it had it all. Thick cover, open grassy zones ready for food plot development, thick heavy pine for bedding, tall pine forest suitable to slow winter snow for yarding up and the all important water source. A potential pond site in the Northwest corner of the property is a whitetail hunters dream come true. When I first visited the property in early fall, after a fairly dry summer it still had standing water. After completing a mapping and topo it actually shows up as a small wetlands. This would explain all the deer runs from the adjoining farms to the North and West. Take a look at the mapping and photos, the deer runs and rub zones are distinct and the mapping indicating Prime Farms on 2 sides and the wetlands a fact. If whitetails are the goal this property just needs a little work to be ready to give you that buck of a lifetime and any number of great cabin sites for that first morning coffee.
