50 +/- acres of which 34 are cleared rich farmland, 7 are treed and the rest host the haskap berry operation. The farm is located just beyond the head of the tide and before the church road bordering partly on North Riverside Rd to the south and 800+ feet on the fresh water of the Roman Valley River to the north. Haskap Farm: 9 acres of the property has been carefully tilled, measured, and rows of landscaping anti-weed screen now house 8,000 haskap bushes that will yield mature haskap berries each July. Haskap berries have become the new super-berry here in North America leading the way for health related benefits in the berry family. The entire berry field has been enclosed in a 10 foot solar powered electric fence to keep the local deer away from the tempting harvest.
