Air temperature area runs 5-10 degrees cooler than Winchester and the Washington area. Summer days are 70-90 degrees. The summer nights are cooler 60-80 degrees. Lake Holiday is 2 hours from the Washington beltway. One has to drive 4 hours to get to Deep Creek Lake where the water tends to be cold most of the summer.
