    420.52 acre Stewart Ranch fronts Colony Road about 2 miles west of Normanna and about 8 miles north of Beeville. Ranch has rolling terrain with the Medio Creek as the southern boundary. The creek which appears to have springs in wet weather is fenced into the property. Elevation throughout the ranch runs from 210 ft. at the Medio to about 320 ft. about 1/2 mile from the Colony Rd. entrance. Ranch fences are fair to near new on east boundary. There is a set of working pens, submersible well, water trough and a storage/ camping shed with porch. An older caliche road accesses the pens. Ranch has a variety of soils from a clay based soil in to north to more sandy soils to the south. The eastern portion was cleared and seeded with native grasses several years ago. There are a number of large attractive Live Oaks scattered throughout the property. Habitat of native South Texas brush is excellent for deer, turkey, feral hog, coyote, dove and quail. A small herd of Elk have been seen near the Medio creek for several years. The Medio has a large rock outcrop and could provide some fishing and water for cattle.
