Doloroso MS is one of the better hunting areas in southwest MS. The area is very heavily wooded and known to have great deer numbers and genetics. This 100 acres is just barly south of the Homochitto river and has an access to the river through a canal that comes off of the river itself. Located inbetween Woodville and Natchez means you can get into town pretty easily from your property whenever you need a store run or a bite to eat. There is some very old timber on the property and other areas that are thick and grown up making for a great habitat mix which allows the wildlife to thrive. While the river is at it's normal stages the property is easily traversed on four wheeler or side by side via the road system that is in place, when the river does rise you'll most likely need a boat to cross the canal to the back part of the property. Speaking of the river, when the water does come up, you'll be able to duck hunt the property, and with St. Catherine's public land being across the Homochitto river from you, you are sure to have some great hunts! Access to the property is down Cavass rd which is a privately owned and maintained road that is kept up by all the landowners who use the road. Cavass rd is gated right where it comes off of the blacktop at Doloroso loop rd so you'll have good privacy on your property as well!
