Building details missed or overlooked   Not sure if buying a already built home differs from start to finish process 

My husband and I have had nightmare after nightmare with our experience. We have not had good experiences with the process from the beginning to completion. We started with a rushed studio appointment for design and were told we were behind. Our second appointment we finished early. During the process we were not given much time to decide and were told on repeat do you want this or that, this or that between two options in most occurrences. 
Throughout the build stage we had major issues occur. Starting with a loft being built where one was not to have been, incorrect stain color on all wood accents (most of which were upgrades, master bedroom wood beam, kitchen ceiling box), mixed shade wiring (that was approved and added in purchase cost).  
For multiple walk throughs our concerns were dismissed or brushed away with one reason or another (ie or tubs are very scratched, the upper-level bath has cracks on the outside and we were told that was due to manufacturing molds). However, with our visits to the house we saw items in the tubs and only when painting was going to occur did plastic get placed.
The workmanship overall has been horrible. I would never recommend JTB. 

We purchased a new construction home that was already completed.  The quality of the build is obvious throughout the home.  The fit and finish of all aspects of the home is top notch.  The customer service of the JTB team we have interacted has been superior as well.

Everyone we came in contact with from the realtor to the walk through and warranty specialist wet top notch! They took care of us and we’re very responsive and kind. I would recommend all my friends to jtb!

Overall our experience has been great - we love our floor plan and the home in general. We are slightly disappointed as there are several things that we feel shouldn’t be happening after being in the home a month (exterior paint that didn’t get touched up after repairs found after inspection, carpet is unraveling more than we believe it should, cabinet doors that have gouges or are getting worn). While we understand wear is to be expected, having all of it happen so soon is not what we would expect. 

However, our warranty technician has been very responsive so we are hoping all of these issues will be taken care of considering how little we have been living in the home. 

Everything went really well….. communication was great, very happy with final product. There are a few things that I would change. Downspouts draining right near foundation, yard a mess with trash and rocks/cement, driveway small and not much paved and already cracked…. Something’s that aren’t deal breakers but would make for an overall better experience

All staff that we have worked w/ have been very responsive and good to work with. We have been impressed by how the house has been delivered on time and on schedule. Brian is outstanding to work with

Pathetic experience all through the purchasing process, even got threatened by the builder with penalties during the purchase with none of my fault and also got time pressurised by builder, preferred lender to close on their favour.

Overall it was very good. Everyone we worked with was on top of it and very helpful. Some vendors we were a little disappointed in, but overall very good experience.
