    My overall experience with Cardel was pleasant. I think it is a challenging time to build a home due to COVID i.e. supplies, tradepeople, etc. Overall we are very happy with our new home. I do want to note a few things: although very nice in person, I think Elaine can be abrasive sometimes through email. I am unsure if she realizes this as she is probably trying to answer questions promptly, but the tone through email comes off abrupt. I am also unsure how Sean is in his position. In the end, the issues we have with the house either are being sorted, or have been sorted. However, when we originally complained about the noise of the HVAC, he said nothing could be done. When HVAC did come out, they said the motor runs on 5 speeds and they were able to turn it down from a 5 to a 3. He also acted as if our two different colored sinks in the master bedroom wasn't a big issue, and that the tradesman would have to rip out the counter (which they did not). Again, in the end it was solved but it was the attitude that we did not appreciate. We did appreciate that he did make sure the bathroom tile in the guest bathroom get fixed that was not properly aligned. However, Sean doesn't seem very knowledgeable about homes in general which is why I don't think he is a fit for his position. The last issue is with the builders. Currently there are three rows of townhomes being built all around us. I believe at one point the inspector came and mentioned what a disarray the area was in. The area could be more tidy in the back behind our garage. We've seen nails all about and although we have not had a flat tire yet, we know many neighbors who have. The builders even left a lift vehicle in the middle of the alley (I think it had a flat tire but still) and they constantly leave wood and other items sticking out. Lastly, please tell me the landscaping in front of the model homes is not what our landscaping will look like. The rocks our absolutely an eye sore- the landscaping in general is not at all what I expect from a quality home that I paid almost half a million for. I really hope Cardel is looking into other options and that is why our homes our not landscaped yet. Again, overall I feel the home is of good quality and I am mostly satisfied. I wanted to shared areas where I think Cardel can improve. Thank you.

    Overall I do not think this was a good first time home buying experience. Elaine was our sales rep who I felt only cared about the money and not about us. I wish more time would have been spent with us explaining and showing different options and designs. We felt very rushed with the whole process and almost like a nuisance anytime we had questions.
