We bought a spec home but feel like we are apart of the JTB family. Warranty has been great. The whole process was easy. Above and beyond what we thought. We have a beautiful new home that we have been dreaming about for years

Building details missed or overlooked Not sure if buying a already built home differs from start to finish process

My husband and I have had nightmare after nightmare with our experience. We have not had good experiences with the process from the beginning to completion. We started with a rushed studio appointment for design and were told we were behind. Our second appointment we finished early. During the process we were not given much time to decide and were told on repeat do you want this or that, this or that between two options in most occurrences. Throughout the build stage we had major issues occur. Starting with a loft being built where one was not to have been, incorrect stain color on all wood accents (most of which were upgrades, master bedroom wood beam, kitchen ceiling box), mixed shade wiring (that was approved and added in purchase cost). For multiple walk throughs our concerns were dismissed or brushed away with one reason or another (ie or tubs are very scratched, the upper-level bath has cracks on the outside and we were told that was due to manufacturing molds). However, with our visits to the house we saw items in the tubs and only when painting was going to occur did plastic get placed. The workmanship overall has been horrible. I would never recommend JTB.
