I would tell people to make sure all action items are complete before signing closing documents. The first response to everything is "that's how it should be". Also, My yard is a swamp with a river . The response I get is wait. I mentioned the yard prior to closing and got " it will be addressed ". Almost 2 months later, I still have a swamp,

Overall the experience was good and we love our new home. There was a lot of communication during the sales phase but that dropped off pretty significantly as we approached closing and thereafter. Communication regarding HOA rules was never made clear, and the approval process for a fence has taken much longer than initially promised before signing the contract. To date we have still not received approval for our fence, which is an important factor for us as we have a dog and were looking forward to moving on from apartment living and the complications related to dog walks and bathroom breaks. Punch list was never fully resolved, to the point we essentially gave up asking for certain items to be fixed or altered. Communication became quite slow trying to sort through this list. It was also incredibly disappointing to see that the toilet in our master bathroom was used prior to move in. We continue to find bottle caps and cigarette butts on our front lawn, mud tracked across our driveway, and lots of trash throughout the community. My hope and expectation is that this would be cleaned up as the community nears completion. The configuration of the furnace and hot water heater does not allow the filter tray to open completely, making filter changes very difficult and causing damage to any filter installed.

Overall very solid experience from initial model home walkthrough with Kevin through final walkthrough with Angelina. Small hiccups upon move in but everything was quickly taken care of. Highly recommend and love our house 2 months in. Kevin, Chip, Angelina are all amazing people that do a great job.
