Good experience. Much better than the previous one with Veridian. I did have a few larger concerns prior to signing contracts that are still a concern. Example the backyard on the easement. Severe washout, basically a creek running through the backyard and I was told it would be much better after grading. Second, there’s a significant popping sound coming from certain pipes. In only two locations. It’s significant enough where when we have people over they mention the one in the living room which is embarrassing. Doesn’t sound like there’s a fix, however I’m looking into options outside of Veridian to see if it can be fixed. Rodney did a great job! Loved Rodney! Veronica did a good job, even though my concerns were valid and what was explained wasn’t the case. Overall, our experience was good, however, room for improvements.
Very disappointed in our experience with Veridian this time around. We were very pleased with Nick and our designer Bree, but that is where our good experience stopped. We were given a deadline that we were in no means fighting for. We were ok with moving in whenever. We were not in a rush. However, it seemed like the remainder of the build process was very rushed. Many things were very poorly done and we are still waiting for many things to be fixed. It has taken a lot of our time to have things fixed that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place. When we would bring something up, we were constantly met with blame towards us or the deadline. We have been charged by companies for things we shouldn’t have been charged for since it was a Veridian screw up to start with. We were informed that we only get one fix for certain things so we have to wait with horrible drywall issues until the year warranty walkthrough to have any of that fixed. We had to have 6 windows replaced along with flooring due to poor installation. Each time something needs to be fixed it affects our time and work obligations. We should not have to take off of work to have things fixed that should have been done correctly in the first place and to make sure they are done correctly this time around. Very disappointed in our experience this time around. We will not be recommending or using Veridian again in the future. A much poorer experience than our first experience 5 years ago.
From Start to Finish Veridian was a complete pleasure to work with! From the start John and his team, provided great expertise and insight when selecting and going through the home building process. They were very prompt and a true treat to work with. Once building process started Daniel was our selected personal builder. Daniel was also amazing through the building process. As first time home owners we had a lot of questions, and he was able to provide insights as well as the correct resources. We cannot thank the Veridian team enough and look forward to future builds with John and Daniel
