Edgewood Preserve by Stepping Stone Homes

Overall experience has been a pleasant one.

Susan was top notch. Scott our builder was good. The walk thru was ok but too much time on paint touch up w blue tape, details of furnace , plumbing g etc. could/should be saved til a week after move in. Too much for people at that point. Driveway concrete issues are not ok. Not getting anyone to come out, look, advise. Too much bombardment w portals and warranty department for us. Info overload and could have been better spaced into move in.

Our experience was probably a little different from others as we reached out to Stepping Stone before they even had any lots in the subdivision for sale. We had been looking for land for awhile to build our "forever home," and the location at Edgewood Preserve was perfect. Possibly because it was a new home plan and we had ideas to change the layout some, it took significant back and forth to get our plans finalized, but they were patient with us and explained any limitations clearly. Ultimately we got almost exactly what we wanted in our home at lower cost than going with a fully custom home builder - and it was built in 7 months, exactly as they promised!
