The overall experience was marred by the 'final walk through' and the problems that were found that took way too long to fix. The saving grace was when Jeff got involved and made sure things were taken care of. In addition to the hassle of trying to get promised items fixed before Jeff stepped in, are the issues of the granite and floors not being sealed. This is especially a problem for the granite. No hardware on the cabinets was disappointing, as was the lack of screen door on the slider. I've never seen that before. I understand how quickly they build the homes, and so not offering choices to the homeowners keeps the prices down, but it would have been nice to have the choice to pay a little more and have the house feel more 'finished' upon move in. Please note that there was a lot that was good about the experience as well, but unfortunately the things that stick out are the problems. I love my home and am slowly working through the issues.

Getting things fixed after closing is a nightmare. Still have outstanding Punch list items after 3 months and communication is not good at all. I have sent many text messages that have gone unanswered and have asked for the same issue to be fixed about 7 times and no one has contacted me about fixing it.
