    Ron, Celeste, Brian were very helpful and they corrected issues that we found during the build. I saw a wall that was wavy and the Meritage Homes team fixed the problem.

    Meritage produces a great home! I only offered a slightly overall rating of Meritage Homes because our wish is that we could have had a little more control over how the home was completed, such as picking a different exterior paint color, or the like that doesn't really affect the overall cost of the home. We understand in the current market that negotiating supply prices is critical to keeping the cost of the home as affordable as possible. However, we also understand through previous home buying experiences that there are supplies that can be modified without an overall end product price increase. It would be nice to see Meritage Homes identify these corners and offer some flexibility to future home buyers. One thing that really impressed me is the willingness of Meritage Homes to provided tangent materials. For example, I had asked about the overall future of the development and our sales consultant was able to get me a master plan of the community from the Land department. These little things help to set Meritage apart from other builders we looked at.
