We have a studio for rent for $1400 (or 1750 for two occupants) located in Ventura, about a block from the bike trail that runs between the beach and Ojai. This is a pretty quiet, tranquil country setting. Studios share a wall, so you must be okay with apartment living and having neighbors. Each studio comes with one off-street parking spot. Street parking is also available. No laundry hookup available, but past residents have set up an outside area for a small portable washing machine. Each studio layout has one main room, as well as separate rooms for kitchen, bathroom and small closet. There is a shared garden in between the buildings available to all residents. Utilities- Utilities have separate meters. Tenants put electric and gas directly in their name. Water and trash are split amongst the number of tenants residing on property. Historically it is around 65-90 per month. Appliances- Landlord to maintain stove and wall heater. Tenants get and maintain their own fridge, window A/C, and any other appliances. Qualifications: Credit score 650 or above Income 3 times the rent Minimum of 6 months at current job Good rental reference No evictions/ open bankruptcies Application fee to cover a standard credit and rental verification will be required before moving in.
