    Welcome to Island Hideaway, a serene 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home nestled within approximately 5 acres of lush forest in Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. This freshly decorated rambler offers a peaceful retreat with walls of windows that bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. Centrally located, it's just a 5-minute drive to historic waterfront shops and restaurants, and 15 minutes to city conveniences, making it an ideal spot to feel at home while exploring the island. The Island Hideaway features a fully stocked kitchen with appliances, cookware, silverware, basic condiments, and coffee/tea. The dining table is set for 4 but can accommodate up to 6 with a table extension. Enjoy high-quality bedding and linens, an onsite washer and dryer with detergent provided, and access to popular streaming TV services. A workspace/desk area is available for remote work needs. Firewood is supplied for the wood-burning stove, and an outdoor dining set is available seasonally, with extra chairs upon request. The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests, with additional guest fees of $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. Well-trained pets are welcome with a fee of $50 per pet. Please inform us if you'll be bringing your pet and how many, as the fee beyond one pet is processed manually after reservation confirmation. Whidbey Island offers a tranquil retreat with lush forests, quaint towns, and stunning beaches, perfect for nature lovers. Coupeville, just 3 minutes east, is an historic town with boutique shops along the waterfront and is the second oldest town in Washington State. The property is conveniently located near Oak Harbour, Deception Pass State Park, Ebey's Landing, and ferry services to Port Townsend and Seattle, making it an excellent base for exploring the island by car. The property is close to the Outlying Landing Field, so you may hear jets flying by, including F-18s as featured in Top Gun: Maverick. Cell service can be spotty, but enabling Wi-Fi calling and texting will help. The property has two separate houses, each with its own private entrance and amenities, ensuring privacy. Strictly no parties or events, quiet hours between 10pm and 8am, and no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. A $500 fine applies per violation. A Ring Camera is located by the driveway. Includes a workspace/desk area for remote work needs. Wi-Fi is the fastest available on the island, suitable for most entertainment and light working requirements. For specific high-speed needs, consider a hotspot or similar alternatives.
