The apartment is on a quiet, tree lined street with ample street parking (~$130/year for residential permit), though having a car is definitely not a necessity. In addition to the many amenities nearby, the unit is 15 minutes from the red line NOMA/Gallaudet station and the same from the Mt. Vernon Square yellow/green line station. It is also convenient to a number of bus lines (80, 90, P6, G2 & more) that go to McPherson Square, Howard University Hospital, Children's National Hospital, and elsewhere across the city, as well as a Capital Bike Share station ($99/year).
Minimum lease is six months.
Tenant is responsible for paying electric (normally about $75/month). Internet (Verizon Fios on a private mesh network), water, sewage, and trash are included in rent.
Bi-weekly professional cleaning service is available for $200/month. No smoking on property.
