Woodland Park and Zoo is less than a five-minute drive south on Aurora or along Greenwood Ave, known for its series of open-air summertime concerts. Lower Woodland has areas that can be reserved for BBQ and picnics. Seattle Center and Central Business District is about a 15-minute drive south on Aurora Ave, with the Seattle waterfront and Pike Market an additional ten minutes away. For visiting medical professionals, three major hospitals are a 5-18 minute drive away.
