The lease is for 6-months with the option to extend based on the relations between the property owner and renter. The apartment is for one renter only; no significant others or children. The owner pays for water and electricity, which is included in the monthly rental amount. The renter is responsible for installing and paying for their own internet. The basement apartment does hold the fuse electric box, water heater, and forced air heating and cooling system. The heating and cooling system requires a bi-monthly filter change (every other month). The property manager will provide a 1-week and 48 72 hour notice for when they need to change the filter. No smoking allowed. No pets allowed; however, for service animals, the property manager is willing to negotiate. For service animals, there will be an added monthly pet fee. The property manager will collect the leaves and shovel snow in the front and rear of the property, especially areas leading to the front door of the apartment. Rental insurance is not required; however, it is highly recommended.
