From the rooftop deck, enjoy breathtaking views of Rockport's waterfront, including Front Beach, Folly Cove, Motif 1, and Rockport Harbor. Watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean as first light illuminates Thatcher Island. As you enter through the front porch, you are welcomed by a spacious living room adorned with nautical accents, including antique ship replicas and instruments. A floor-to-ceiling field stone fireplace connects the living room with the dining room, which features a table that comfortably seats 6 to 10 people. The fully equipped kitchen boasts full-sized appliances, including a dishwasher, new stainless-steel gas stove, and refrigerator. Ascend the stairs to find a cozy reading nook on the oversized landing and two bedrooms at opposite ends of the home. The cottage also includes a full bathroom with a shower and tub combination and a half bathroom with full-sized laundry facilities. For family-friendly accommodations, a luxury Pack-n-Play or other children's furnishings are available for an additional charge, subject to availability. Bell Buoy is ideally located just a short stroll from Rockport's downtown, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, art galleries, Rockport Harbor, and Front Beach. The vibrant downtown area offers a variety of treasures, from concerts at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, which features a stunning glass wall overlooking Rockport Harbor, to numerous art galleries celebrating the local artist community. The cottage is also conveniently close to restaurants, shops, fishing spots, and ice cream shops, making it easy to explore all that Bearskin Neck and downtown Rockport have to offer. Smoking is strictly prohibited, and guests will be fined and immediately evicted for smoking or vaping in the home or on the property. No parties, events, performing artists, or bands are allowed at any time, and violations are grounds for eviction with no refund. Window air conditioning units are installed in May and removed in September, providing cooling and fan functions. Parking is available with free options at the train station and on 2 Blue Lane Road on Rt 127, with free shuttles to downtown Rockport. During the winter, meters and kiosk parking is free, and on-street parking outside of meter and kiosk areas is free year-round. Pets are not allowed at Bell Buoy. The cottage offers two workspaces: a desk in the dining room and a large table in the master bedroom, providing ample space for remote work. High-speed private Wi-Fi ensures you stay connected during your stay.
